Missy Industry

Melissa Lafrenière, aka Missy Industry is a self-made revolutionary in jewellery. Young, vibrant and hot, this chick's work can be found all over the world. What I like about Melissa's work is that it has a vintage/rocker feel to it that is appealing to both sexes.
All her pieces are hand crafted in sterling silver, withstanding the test of time (and me catching my fingers in just about anything that fingers can be caught in) .

I have more than a few of her pieces in my jewellery box, each one gets plenty of recognition and compliments every single time I wear them... Including this custom made beauty above!

"They're Real!" - Really worth it!

Presenting Benefit "They're Real" Mascara

Where to find it: Pharmaprix, Sephora
Use: Makeup
Ease of use: Super-duper easy
Smell: virtually none
Packaging: Silver & Retro
Price: Around 30$

I'm a fiend for mascara; I buy a new mascara to try out almost every week. Some are good, some really suck... but it's exceptionally rare that they are fantastic. This mascara is more than fantastic, it's exceptional. Yes, it's expensive but here's why:
-Two coats usually does the job for a full and long lash look
-It dries fast but isn't clumpy
-Goes on silky & it's easy to work into the lashes
-The brush has wonderful bristles at the tip to go fill in bare areas precisely
-Hypoallergenic
-The black is very intense; perfect for pinup eyes

Cons: It's hell to remove (soap & water followed by makeup remover and you really have to scrub), not waterproof

Final word: Try it out, it's worth the cash! I'm so satisfied I'm using it at the studio!

Glamour Montreal on Slice!

Last night we were featured on My Teenage Wedding (Slice), the girls came to our studio for their bachelorette a few months ago! Check out the video HERE, They also used us in their promo on Entertainment Tonight Canada, which was extremely flattering to say the least!

Here are some stills from the show:

The final "burlesque" product!

The reaction of Sarah's friends!

I actually made this costume for Sarah just a few nights before;
I'm happy to see it suited her and fit like a glove!

I loved her husband to be's reaction to the photos... But you'll have to watch the episode to find out!

And the final image is:

Sarah, though young, was very lovely, kind and definitely mature beyond her years. Her friends were sweet and devoted to her having a fun time - they spent most of night cheering her on and telling her how beautiful she was. It's nice to see young girls rallying around each other & the goal of our studio was definitely achieved: To have fun and discover the bombshell inside yourself!
Everyone here at Glamour MTL wishes the bride & groom good luck, love and prosperity for the future!
